Rock N Blues 2007 - Best Jap
Thundercity's Turbocharged Honda K2 scooped the prize for best Japanese bike at this year's Rock N Blues Custom Show in Derbyshire. This bike (featured in our finished projects section), has a Russ Collins Racing big bore 1000cc motor dating from 1972 running a Ray Jay turbocharger. Tooty reports that the bike, which was ridden all the way to the show and back, managed a whopping 18 miles to a tankful of fuel! But it's fast, so who gives a shit. Also in the show, Alan Jones won runner up Best Hot Rod with his Big Bear Choppers Sled 300.

2007 Farmyard Party. Best In Show
Thundercity scooped the top prize at this year's Farmyard Party with the Big Bear Choppers Sled 300. Owner Alan Jones was over the moon to receive the top award at one of the UK's premier events. Pics of the bike are in the Finished Projects section of our website.

Qualified on the S&S Training course
Edge and Steve our two Mechanics just passed, YIPEEEE Zodiac gives their authorized dealers the opportunity to follow the S&S™ training and certification program so they can become a PRO TUNING CENTER, SIDEWINDER CENTER, and/or VFI TUNING CENTER. These are a must for any dealer working with S&S™ engines or S&S™ VFI (Variable Fuel Injection). Certification from S&S™ will earn your shop a distinction in the marketplace that adds customer confidence and respect for your technicians, and this is all done at the Zodiac facility in Mijdrecht, the Netherlands. An S&S™ instructor/technician will come over to the Zodiac facility for a week, enabling our valued dealers to follow the 2 day VFI TUNING course, 3 day SIDEWINDER course, or do both, which is the 5 day PRO TUNING course. Once each course is done, the participants have to pass a test to become certified by S&S™. These are exactly the same courses as S&S™ give in their La Crosse, Wisconsin training facilities, and these courses are led by their own instructors. Zodiac has a fully equipped Dynojet Model 250, with eddy brake system and two wide-band oxygen sensors, which is used during the VFI TUNING course and our workshop facilities are made available during the practice days of the SIDEWINDER course. Furthermore, we are in the process of building a classroom, so everything, including the class-room days, can be done in-house.

Custom Choppers on Men & Motors
We're back on the Telly on a new show called Custom Choppers. It's on Men & Motors on Monday nights at 8 pm. First episode was on May 21st, it then skips a week for the bank holiday and starts again on the 4th of June. The show features several bike builders from the UK, Europe and the States. It's worth watching for the gorgeous blonde presenter alone!
